| Hey Friends!Being in Vegas was so cool, I always wanted to see what it was like.I've seen the Black Pyramid, The Sphinx and the Eiffel Tower.At night, the city especially looks amazing with all the lights going off.It's a strange place to be at first, because it's right in the middle of the desert.Sometimes I felt like I was standing in Disneyland for grownups!But of course, I wasn't there for the sights.I was there to work with RedOne, and in the three days we worked with each other, we came up with two amazing songs.On one of the songs, a co-writer jumped in - her name is Lady Gaga and she is an amazing artist as well (be on the look out!).Yesterday, I flew from Las Vegas into New York.I am so psyched to be in New York because I will be working with some amazing producers.Right now, I am in my hotel room and I just came back from a writing session with Toby Gad.I already worked with him once, so it was cool to see him again. |
| I already worked with him once, so it was cool to see him again.You might know his work - the song that everybody will know that he did is "Big Girls Don't Cry" with Fergie.Tomorrow, Toby and I have another day to write.Then after that, I will be working with Stargate.I am so excited about that because they did a few of my favorite songs, like Beyonce's "Irreplaceable" and "With You" by Chris Brown.So I can't wait to go in with them!Justin will also join this session.Can't wait to go in!!:-)Today (04-30-08) it's a national holiday in The Netherlands.It's the Queen Mother's Birthday, therefore everybody is free, and people are partying!We call it "Queensday," and it's a big thing in The Netherlands.Since I am from The Netherlands, I want to give a shoutout to all the Dutch and all the international people and say Happy Queensday!Big kiss,Esme |
