| Monday, January 14, 2008 Chuck Kahl updates us on the future of BNS Category: Music Many thanks go to Chuck Kahl for taking the time to promptly return my e-mail regarding the departure of Joe Altier from Brand New Sin.What was the situation behind the decision to break BNS up?"BNS hasn't broken up.Joe is trying to figure out what avenue he wants to pursue in music and life, which is completely understandable with anyone after six years in the same project.The remaining members want to continue with this project full on, and wish not to take a break up.There's no bad blood or bitter feelings as far as I know.Rumors fly, and stories get exaggerated, and twisted by the writer's or story tellers discretion, but us five know what was discussed the last time we met and that's that. |

| The idea of the Undesirables was to have a job when we return from the road.Touring is a sink hole as far as wallets and bank accounts go.Of course playing other peoples (s)hit songs isn't the most rewarding, but it's fun to do, and much better than flipping burgers or/and getting bitched at by your women.I think we'll always do this band, when we are shitty old men to get out of the house.It is pretty fun... and we drink for free - usually!"It appears (from afar, as I am) that Danny has also split from Unholy.The fans are going to ask, so tell me, have you spoken with Danny about any kind of a Godbelow reunion show or working with him on any new material, either as Godbelow or under a different name? |

I think some things need to go down in history, ya know.I think the 'Resurrection' show was it. |

| I think the 'Resurrection' show was it.If you missed it, your loss."As an aside, I will add that those who go check out BNS's the internet blog will see listings for upcoming shows for The Undesierables and for Altier's part-time solo project Brand New Joe.Finally, I want to call to everyone's attention the great thing that BNS recently did and made mention of in their blog today.The members recently played a show for servicemen and servicewomen departing Upstate New York for Afghanistan.The volunteered their time for this show (they did get fed and hammered for free though!)and should be highly commended for it. |
